Testing From My Phone!

HEY YALL!!!!!

So, last night, before I went to bed, I set up a Mail Chimp RSS feed that would email new posts to subscribers at 4am Monday - Friday.  I set up my email as a teat email and BAAAAAABY when I tell you I had the crazy grin so tough my jaws hurt this morning when I opened my email...I ain't telling you no tales.  LOL!

The ease by which it took to set up is embarrassing.  UGH!

Wait...let me try and add a pic while I'm sitting in the bank lobby.

BIG PIMPING!!!!! GO ME!

That polish is Essie Watermelon and it makes me happy every.single.time I look at my hands.  LOL!

What polish are you rocking today?

I Moved!

I finally got fed up with Typepad and moved to these shiny new digs!  I'm playing around with stuff so be patient with me.

I have a bit of a learning curve to overcome and I'm trying to get my mojo back while trying to not bother these darn mosquito bites that I have.  The mosquitos here have been having a field day.  I wore a pair of capris the other day and all around my ankles got ate up.  Joy.

I've been patching up holes and painting getting 13700 ready for the next occupants.

Someone has been going around our neighborhood opening car doors that are unlocked and stealing stuff.  Begs me to wonder however, why are your car doors unlocked?

I've pretty much determined that I would rather do anything other than pack.

I'm extremely tired.

I don't like television anymore except for Thursdays and Sundays.  Now that "Ray Donovan" is over for the season...I don't like Sundays now.

I don't feel all that great today.  Really tired and sluggish.  Crappy actually.   Achy and hot.

Maybe I just need more water.

I think Jaru is depressed.

I love Lysol in the yellow can.  Odd...I know.  Just odd.

CreoleInDC Motto #427

I've had a lot of calls for my birthday of people wishing me well and it's been wonderful catching up with people I don't get a chance to talk to often since I'm truly not a phone person.  The other day I caught up with a friend who has a heart of gold.  Always has...always will.  A couple of years ago I had a come to Jesus with her about how much she gives to people in her family who are constantly in need.  She was depressed and stuck in a rut and when she called I was packing to go somewhere.

She said something along the lines of...I wish I could go on a trip and I was like...well...um...why can't you?

Knees and Elbow Maintenance

One of the things we can't do as we age is ignore our changing bodies.  Our skin gets less taunt as we age and can appear to be darker in areas like our knees and elbows where there is extra skin.

To keep on top of this I do a bit of a scrub a few times a month that I will probably do more often as I age. I cut a lemon in half and then press it into some sea salt on a saucer.  I then scrub my elbows and knees with it adding more salt as needed.  I also hit my ankles.

When I get out of the tub I moisturize while my skin is still damp to the touch and every night I put Aquaphor on all the normally rough feeling spots before bed.

We simply must keep our stride stank.  Can't let these young girls think they got us beat.  LOL!

What do YOU do for your knees and elbows?
